Ben Patinkin

Senior Analyst

Ben Patinkin Ben Patinkin first joined the Grove Insight team as a college intern during his senior year at Lewis & Clark College in 2001. In May 2002, he assumed the role of full time Junior Analyst. After six years of experience managing projects for candidates, government agencies, businesses and advocacy groups, Ben has become a leader in the company and an integral member of the Grove Insight team. Now a senior analyst, you’ll find him heading up survey development, leading focus groups and dial tests across the country (he’s a graduate of the RIVA Training Institute and an expert with Perception Analyzer software used in dial tests), and creating insightful poll and focus group analysis. Lately, the team has crowned Ben "King of the Bond Measure" for his success helping these difficult campaigns.

Even prior to his internship with Grove Insight, Ben was a political junkie. As a volunteer and college intern he worked with the campaign staff of both Congressman David Wu and State Representative Lauren Beth Gash of Illinois. During the spring of 2002, he participated in a comprehensive AIPAC campaign training seminar in Washington D.C.

When he’s not at the office or on the road delivering keen insights to clients, you’re most likely to find Ben at home with his wife Sara, new baby Flynn, and two cats – probably watching a White Sox game and cheering loudly (or watching the Cubs and jeering loudly). Before the arrival of baby Flynn, Ben swears he was an avid skier, wine enthusiast, and had an infamous arm in the Jewish Dodgeball circuit. But why do all that when you can hang out with the adorable Mr. Flynn?
